How accurate is the identification?
Good photos of common houseplants identify with high confidence; rare cultivars and stressed plants are harder. That's exactly why every result shows its confidence score and alternative candidates instead of pretending to be certain. If we miss, correct it manually and the result improves.
What's free and what's premium?
Care reminders, your Garden, journal, botanist levels, badges and the Plantdex are free forever — we never paywall the things that keep you coming back. Free includes 3 AI scans a day (identification and health checks combined). Premium adds unlimited scans for $29.99/year (7-day trial) or $4.99/month, cancelled anytime in your App Store settings. We notify you before a trial converts.
What happens to my plant photos?
They're sent securely to our server, analyzed by AI to identify or diagnose the plant, and then discarded. They're never used to improve our AI unless you explicitly opt in — off by default. Details in our privacy policy.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically but can be cancelled anytime from your App Store account settings, at least 24 hours before renewal. No weekly plans, no dark patterns — and we remind you before a free trial turns into a paid one.
